Gugga ji was born in Dadrewa. Early days of Gogaji were spent at village Dadrewa, situated on Hissar-Bikaner Highway in the Churu district. He was born in Chauhan clan to Chauhan Vacha and queen Bahcal and were rulers of this area during that period - around 900 AD. A fair is simultaneously held here too in his memory. His desandants adopted the name Bachal Rajput after name of Gogaji's mother.
Gogaji was born by the blessing of Guru gorkhnath ji. Gogaji's mother, Rani Bachal worshipped her guru Gorkhnath for 12 years to receive a boon of a child. Gogaji's wife was Siriyal and his father was Raja Jewar Singh of Bhagar Desh.
There is another popular story behind the 12-year worship of the mother of Jahar Peer (Bachal).
While Rani Bachal was worshiping Guru Gorakhnath, she had a twin-sister Rani Kachal who decided to usurp the blessings from Guru Gorakhnath. In the middle of night, she wore the clothes of her sister and deceived the Guru into giving her the blessing fruit. When Rani Bachal came to know about it, she rushed to Guru Gorakhnath and said that she had not received anything. To this, Guruji replied that he had already given his blessings and said that her sister was trying to deceive her. After much persistence from Rani Bachal, the Guru relented and gave her two Gugal candies (Gugal is a herb which is prescribed even till today under Ayurveda to treat people of infertility), and hence the name Gogaji.
She distributed these candies to the ladies having no child, including the 'Blue mare' who was pregnant at that time. The horse borne to the mare the 'Blue Horse' that Gogaji rode. When Guru Gorkhnath gave the blessing to Rani Bachal, he foretold that her son would become very powerful and would also rule over both the sons of Rani Kachal. Gogaji had the company of his blue horse, Nar Singh Peer and Bohriwala. He finally killed both the sons of Rani Kachal and informed his mother. Guggaji's mother on hearing this became very angry and decided not even to see her son's face ever. However, every evening Gogaji met his wife in hiding.
One day Rani Bachal came to know about it and thought of apologizing for her mistake. Being previously ordered by his mother of not ever showing his face to her, Gogaji sought for help from Guru Gorkhnath. Guruji with his Chimta (holy tongs) from Gorkhtilla slid the land causing Gogaji and his horse to take samadhi.
One day Rani Bachal came to know about it and thought of apologizing for her mistake. Being previously ordered by his mother of not ever showing his face to her, Gogaji sought for help from Guru Gorkhnath. Guruji with his Chimta (holy tongs) from Gorkhtilla slid the land causing Gogaji and his horse to take samadhi.
As a consequence, Gogaji's mother and wife also took samadhi near him. It is said that Gogaji's samadhi is inclined and not straight. gogaji has 35 wives and 45 sons when he fought with arungazeb he losess hi 43 sons in that battle gogaji horse name was javadia gogaji has learned kalma from mhomadd moinudin chisti, haji ratan, meher shab, and khwaja khijir etc. This four was his maulavi.
The history of gogaji's birth goes like this raja jewar and rani bachal was child less from seven births so first bachal worship parvati from the aim of getting child then parvati told to bachal you start began to worship shiv he will give you the child then rani started worshipping shiv so shiv saw on the earth who is worshipping me so shiv on the kailash parbat broke his hear and made one sadu and told to him go to the bachal in dadrewa and tell soon only gorakhnath will come and give you the child so start began to worship gorakhnath then after lissing shiva's talk nage sadu went to the bachal and tell all the story to him then after some days ago bachal began to woraship gorakhnath so twelve years past bachal was worshipping gorakhnath so to the bachal's body all mudd was stucked so at that time gorakhnath arrived in the maru des in the mid night so in the darkness of night gorakhnath thought of sitting in the samadhi all this incident knew the kachal the sister of bachal in getting the fruit of a child she also came to that place and started began to worship gorakhnath in the mud so gorakhnath saw the muddy place which was rani kachal was standing to get the fruit from gorakhnath then gorakhnathsat on that muddy place on the kachal's der and started his samadhi after some his his follower auganath knew about this so he told all the incident to his guru and opened his samadhi so the pir opened his eyes and saw kachal standing in front of him and gave the two barely corns to him then after some time ranibachal opned his samadhi and asked the pir to give a fruit of hi worship so gorakhnath then blessed bachal with guggal and told him that from this you will received a child which will named as gugga he will be the great warrior and the devotees of will worship him.
They says gogaji has contact with snake because when gogaji took the birth he was lying in the ramp so to kill gogaji takshak nag the king of snake comes and catch gogaji's neck so gogaji got angry and catch takshak nag's neck and swallowed him so the poison of takshak went in gogaji's body and gogaji become the king of snake so whenever in the district of rajasthan,kangra,himachal,etc the snakes bites someone the chant the mantras of gogajis name so so all poison cures automatically.
